I WENT TO RESTRICTED AREA IN INDIA-TIBET BORDER

This summer I went to the India-Tibet border in Uttarakhand with my cousins. Here I want to share some knowledge about the trip.

Restricted Area In India-Tibet Border

1. Where is Niti Valley?

There are many states in India that share a border with Tibet so I chose Chamoli, Uttarakhand. In Uttarakhand, we went to Niti Valley or Niti pass. Niti Valley is 2.5hours away from Joshimath. Niti valley is the last stop for normal person access from there you need government permission.

2. How to get Government permission to access in India-Tibet border?

Niti village is the 'Last village of India'. From Niti village, you need government permission. For government permission, you have to write an application to the District Magistrate of the district ( Chamoli ) and tell about the purpose. Mostly they do not allow the normal people so to get selected apply before you visit Niti valley so your trip becomes successful.

3. How Restricted Area in India Looks?

India-Niti valley is the unseen beauty of India, if you ever get a chance to visit Niti valley never miss I must say. We went to a restricted area which starts after Niti village after taking government permission. Before China-India clash the access was normal in this area but after that, it's very hard to get access. We got government permission and you won't believe the beauty of this area and I got a chance to shoot in this area which I uploaded on my youtube channel. Again I want to say if you ever got a chance never miss it.
